For this week, we presented the ideas we came up with in our group meeting on Tuesday, such as:
- A lil physical/ spatial flow chart at the front of the store to streamline the process of donating/ throwing junk away… that fulfils the education part of the brief quite well and ties into the physical signage
- Arrows on the floor like an activity/maze, turns the way-finding into a fun game.
- All the signs on exactly the same level, not higher or lower, so you know where to look for it.

A fun flow chart experience for the consumer to know if they can drop their junk off at Second Treasures or not - titled, 'Trash or Treasure?'

All the signs on one single, clear level free of all other junk so it is very clear and obvious where to look to find the sign
Painted + colour coded arrows on the floor as a fun wayfinding experience.
Notes + feedback from class presentation
- Think about why the space is already set up like that
- 2 separate users - people who want to browse the shop, and people who just want to drop their shit off and leave? Maybe put the flowchart that’s on the inside of the container to have 2 entrances after that, like 1 for drop off and 1 for browsing?
- Path of Usage…. What paths do people take through the space?
- Balance of keeping a certain amount of junky aesthetic but also make it orderly.
